Program Overview:
A speech pathologist is a profession that assesses and treats people experiencing difficulties with speech, language and swallowing food.
The program provides comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in various aspects including anatomy, speech disorder, hearing, communication and swallowing disabilities, linguistics and psychology. Students will also gain hands-on training through placement throughout the program.
Professional Recognition:
Graduates will be eligible for Practicing Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
Career Prospect:
Employment rate of Speech Pathology graduates in Hong Kong is usually 100%. Speech pathologists work in a number of settings, including schools, hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centres and NGOs.

- Australian Year 12 with ATAR of 72; or
- IB 28; or
- HKDSE: 18; or
- Completion of required Foundation or Diploma Program with required score; and
- IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL Total 592 paper-based / 94 internet-based
