Program Overview:
Veterinary Science/Medicine is the study of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of health problems in animals. The program provides students with the knowledge of biomedical and animal sciences and the clinical skills required for veterinary practice. Students will also develop an understanding in biosecurity, animal behaviour, disease surveillance, animal welfare, etc.
Professional Recognition:
Graduate will be qualified to register with the Veterinary Registration Boards in Australia.
Career Prospect:
A boom in pet ownership in Hong Kong has created a lot of pet-related job opportunities in recent years. Veterinarian is probably the most sought-after occupation in the sector, with an average starting salary of HK$30,000 and can reach to HK$100,000 after several years' of practice.
