《iET Facebook 英語學堂》 第11周 : Under the Weather

香港過去10日都有雷暴警告，天氣又熱又濕，細菌滋生，加上出入冷氣地方，溫差極大，很容易生病。少少不適的時候，外國的英語朋友仔很少會説 "I  am sick"，比較常用的是“not feeling well”或“under the weather”。留意“under the weather”口語中亦可指「喝醉」或「宿醉」

例子：

Mom: I’m a bit under the weather today. Could you prepare dinner for the kids tonight?

Dad: No problem. What’s McDonald’s order number?
