《iET Facebook 英語學堂》 第20周 : Retake & Reclaim

相信近日大家對一個具爭議性的詞彙 —「重奪」感興趣，英文是 "retake"，另外，比較爲人熟悉的是考試肥佬要「重考」也是 "retake"；另一個意思相近的字是 "reclaim"，「拿回」、「要回」的意思。"reclaim" 亦有另一意思：「填海」。

例子:

You can reclaim your lost luggage at the lost and found section of the airport.（你可以在機場的失物認領處取回你遺失的行李。）

This new building is built on reclaimed land. (這幢新建築物是蓋在填海土地上。)
