浸會大學學生就講粗口事件解釋是一時口誤，並非有意。我們廣東話裏説的「一時口快」説錯話，英文是什麽? 

A Slip of the Tongue

“Slip” (名詞) 通常解「滑倒」、「脫落」的意思，而另一個意思是「小失誤」、「無心之失」，例如: The teacher made a slip in his calculation. (老師的計算有個小失誤。)

所以，“a slip of the tongue” 是「舌頭的失誤」，説錯了的意思，例子:

I called my teaher mom – it was a slip of the tongue. 我一時口快喊了老師做媽媽。

相信除了嘴巴外，學生們有時寫/打字也有失誤，例如明明想寫/打 “I like eating snacks” (我喜歡吃零食)，卻不小心變成 “I like eating snakes” (我喜歡吃蛇) ，這種情況，我們可以說是 “a slip of the pen” (或 “a slip of the fingers”) 。
