Profile

St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School is a leading Western Australian Anglican girls’ day and boarding school, regularly ranked in the top five schools in the State.  Established in 1921, we have a long history of providing an exceptional education for girls and young women, with a focus on academic excellence, personal development and leadership potential.

Our teaching staff genuinely care about each student's development, encouraging them to strive for personal excellence and discover their best. Our engaged network of alumnae provide our girls with tutoring, mentoring, career guidance and opportunities to develop their global networks of the future.

St Mary’s offers well-appointed and modern facilities, including state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, as well as music, technology and media spaces. Located in spacious, landscaped grounds, the School is only 15 minutes from the city centre of Perth and five minutes to the beach.

Our international students live in the school’s boarding house, located in the centre of the campus. The boarding community is warm and supportive, with care provided 24 hours a day. All facilities and rooms are under the one roof, providing a safe, secure environment with a variety of academic support and tutoring programmes.

Supervision and support are provided by a dedicated Head of Boarding, an International Student Co-ordinator, the Boarders’ Academic Support Officer and 24-hour pastoral care staff.  A sense of belonging is further nurtured by evening and weekend activities, and special events with our brother school, Hale, to help make St Mary’s your daughter’s home-away-from-home.
